The Gapka Neon range is truly unmatched for both pigment and consistency. I use it for glazing, under paintings, and pretty much everything in between. The glow under a black light is incredible, but the color is vibrant and stands out on it's own as well. Even paintings several years old have not lost their potency or yellowed, this paint is a staple on my palette!

While I'm usually intimidated by the flashy shimmer of pearlescent oils this formula blends without overtones and can stand alone on clean accents like china and glass.

The neon oil paint sampler set is a great idea. I am still working on a painting with my new samples, but I might consider purchasing the full tube set in the future. My first set that I received was really dried out, and customer service took great care of me and shipped me out a replacement set. My replacement set arrived in the same condition as the first. The paint doesn't sit well in the little jars. I was able to use some thinner in the samples to make them usable. Im not sure how it compares to the tube quality paint though, after being dried out and then thinned down again. I am enjoying painting with them, and the uv is very bright under a black light. It is fun to paint with the blacklight on! The colors don't necessarily blend well together, at least with the consistency that my paint is, but I am learning how to make then work with each other as I go.

I absolutely love these paints! No one else has the same chemistry as Gapka! For my impressionistic style, they are perfect. I get all the effects that I want from a paint and how it moves with other wet paint around it.
