Our neon paints are fluorescent and will glow when exposed to a UV-Blacklight. These same pigments make the colors bright neon under normal lighting conditions.
Like all our oil paints our neon colors are made using only the finest pigments and without adding any fillers to maintain the pigments' natural qualities and ensure the highest possible pigment loads.
Our neon paints are made with unique fluorescent pigments that behave a little differently from traditional colors and that’s part of what makes them special. They’re beautifully transparent with a soft, luminous quality, and their naturally fine texture gives them a distinct feel under the brush. These paints will separate slightly in the tube and tend to dry more slowly, especially in thicker applications.

The Gapka Neon range is truly unmatched for both pigment and consistency. I use it for glazing, under paintings, and pretty much everything in between. The glow under a black light is incredible, but the color is vibrant and stands out on it's own as well. Even paintings several years old have not lost their potency or yellowed, this paint is a staple on my palette!

Love how black light reactive the fluorescent oil paints are! Just started using them, and plan to keep using them! Also love how vibrant, and opaque the colors are compared to traditional acrylic fluorescent paint!

Beautiful color, just what I needed. Great consistency, not too oily
After being very disappointed with the neon oils/pigments purchased from other brands, I ordered a small tube of this to test out. The texture, pigment, and consistency are all excellent. Shipping was timely and they sent me some free samples as well. I will be ordering a big can next!
This neon pink has become a go-to. I use these all the time. The pink is especially bright and even more striking than the photos suggest. Even small marks stand out from twenty feet away.
This pink was the best mixed of the Gapka oils I purchased. Some of them had separated a lot by the time they got to me. They were still amazing quality pigments, but the yellow for instance required mixing.

Due to the shipping costs to Europe seriously the most expensive paint I ever bought. The colors are marvelous, though!
Frankly it is a little runny which makes it too transparent.
The color was exactly what I was looking for, however the consistency is very thin for oil paint.
Hi Treena! Thanks for the review. These pigments do produce much thinner oil paints than many other pigments. Since we don't add any fillers to our products, the paints will respond to the qualities of the pigment.
I have had a very hard time finding neon oil paint in the past, so much so I gave up. That's until I came across gapka neon oil paint. So I of course had to order it! The color pay off is great, and it is a true neon paint. The consistency is alittle runny, but it does not take away from the color payoff. I Definitely will be purchasing again!
Neon Pink is a great colour to add to pump up your pallet and add some ‘pop’ to a painting. I had been looking for a while to find a pink that could deliver and this one did. The consistency is a little thin but when mixed with another opaque like Titanium White, it works well.
This is to date, my favorite pink pigment. It's more liquid in texture, but very pigmented!

True neon, but the paint is very runny and has to be mixed with titanium white to be used.
A bit watery and thin in consistency
I could not get a color mixed with my oil paints to make the NEON Pink I needed for a painting. I googled & at first only saw information saying you can not buy oil paints in neon colors. Then I saw information on techniques to mix oil paint to get neon color. I had tried these things and was not getting what I needed. Then I saw a video by an artist who tested the Gapka Neon Oil Paints and was happy with them. Even though the paint is more expensive, I decided to try it out. I was able to get the neon pink shades I needed. I just finished the painting and am so happy how it turned out. We'll see if it passes the test of time, but so far I'm happy with the Gapka Neon Pink paint.
This pink is unreal. I ordered the sample and was in love immediately. So bright, not too transparent, wonderful consistency. AWESOME!!
Quinacridone opera is more vibrant but this is still a good alternative.
