Note: Samples are packed the same day as they are shipped and should be used within a short time of receipt. Because the containers are not airtight paints will dry out over time making the containers difficult to open and the paint differ in consistency.
Our neon paints are fluorescent and will glow when exposed to a UV-Blacklight. These same pigments make the colors bright neon under normal lighting conditions.
Like all our oil paints our neon colors are made using only the finest pigments and without adding any fillers to maintain the pigments' natural qualities and ensure the highest possible pigment loads.
Our neon paints are made with unique fluorescent pigments that behave a little differently from traditional colors and that’s part of what makes them special. They’re beautifully transparent with a soft, luminous quality, and their naturally fine texture gives them a distinct feel under the brush. These paints will separate slightly in the tube and tend to dry more slowly, especially in thicker applications.

I love the brightness, they are exactly what i was looking for. Great quality
I really liked the samples of paint I got. They did get damaged in the mail and dried up a bit but I was able to salvage most of them by mixing with linseed oil.
The neon oil paint sampler set is a great idea. I am still working on a painting with my new samples, but I might consider purchasing the full tube set in the future. My first set that I received was really dried out, and customer service took great care of me and shipped me out a replacement set. My replacement set arrived in the same condition as the first. The paint doesn't sit well in the little jars. I was able to use some thinner in the samples to make them usable. Im not sure how it compares to the tube quality paint though, after being dried out and then thinned down again. I am enjoying painting with them, and the uv is very bright under a black light. It is fun to paint with the blacklight on! The colors don't necessarily blend well together, at least with the consistency that my paint is, but I am learning how to make then work with each other as I go.

good, the tubes on arrival were soaked in oil,lables slipped off.
Hi! We’re working on finding some better tubes. Because we try to use as little stabilizer as possible and we don’t use fillers sometimes the oil will separate and leak our a little. We promise it doesn’t effect the quality of the paint!
These paints don’t blend well. There is a waxy quality and they tend to be dry and flake into a gritty texture. The green and blue are not neon… I wonder if all the paint from Gapka is this quality?
We do note on our website that 'The pigments used in making fluorescent paints have their own unique qualities. The paints will seem grainy and have a tendency to separate from the oil. Painting overly thick layers will result in a powdery texture that will take a long time to dry and may crack if touched.' This texture is unique to the neons as it has to do with the pigments used in their manufacture.
Amazing quality, bright, and dissolves perfectly. My only gripe is that the Blue could do with being brighter, which is honestly most fluor sets. Absolutely recommend these, especially for miniature painting.

They were half dried out. The workability of the paint is off
The samples are made to order and then shipped out right away because they do tend to dry out more quickly in the little containers. We have sent you an email separately with some questions about how we can make this right.

I am painting a sunset scene and couldn’t achieve the vibrant colors without neon paint. It is hard to find in an oil for a reasonable price. Your sample set was just what I needed
Absolutely love the constancy (creamy and medium bodied) and vibrancy of these neon oil paints. They mix beautifully with each other as well as oils from other brands. I will definitely be purchasing larger tubes of my favorite colors.

the neon line is the best one out there, and you can really get some amazing effects/tones when mixing small amounts of these with titanium white or other basic colors...they have a light consistency but don't let that scare you
Used with a blend of naphtha and rubber cement for a latex mask and it’s awesome. Great black light action

Fantastic! Super bright—the neon orange, fire-orange, and yellow are my fave. These have good coverage and are clearly neon on canvas with gesso—they sit up on the surface.
