I consider myself to be a skilled amateur painter. I use tools commensurate with my abilities; good quality brushes, but never more than $20 per brush, and middle grade paint, usually Gamblin, Utrecht or Rembrandt, nothing to break the bank, but better than adequate. I was fed an ad in Instagram (or Facebook?) for a starter kit of these Gapka primaries, plus emerald, titanium and Mars black. I was running low on a few of them, so put in an order. I was impressed with the vibrancy of these colors; great chroma and fun to mix. (I’ve made greens and reds hard to achieve with my usual palette). And the texture is rich. I will definitely order these again; better yet, I’d love to see them in stock at my local art supply store.

These paints are lush, full bodied colors that are well worth their cost. Each color has its own consistency and flow, but they all have value. You can use them straight from the tube, combine them, or mix them with mediums to affect their look. I'm about to order more paint right now!

Great paints that won’t break you wallet. Colors are highly pigmented. Worth every dollar.
