40ml tubes of all seven colors from our neon collection at a special price.

Our neon paints are fluorescent and will glow when exposed to a UV-Blacklight. These same pigments make the colors bright neon under normal lighting conditions.

The pigments used in making fluorescent paints have their own unique qualities. The paints will seem grainy and have a tendency to separate from the oil. Painting overly thick layers will result in a powdery texture that will take a long time to dry and may crack if touched. 

As with all Gapka paints, we believe the only ingredients should be pigment and oil. We leave the addition of mediums to manipulate the paint to you, the artist.

Fluorescent colors are not colorfast by their nature. Humidity, temperature, and light exposure will affect the duration of the fluorescent properties and brightness of the paint in daylight. Read more about their lightfastness here.

All our neon colors are considered transparent.

Neons

Fabulous! I was I was painting a large canvas. The subject was a local carnival at that magical hour when the sky is the same intensity as the electric lights on all the carousels and Ferris wheels. I couldn’t get the electric lights to match the intensity of of the sky. I bought the neon collection and everything popped. Thank you.

These are AWESOME

I’m pretty surprised at the results with these. The neon effect works even when blended with other colors. I’ve even used them to bump up the vibrancy of other colors - added the neon yellow to a bright green. I only wish the neon blue was a lighter brighter color - it’s more of a dark blue.

Incredible Consistency and Quality!
